Marketing stunt and relaunchĭuring a period of days from September 19 to 22, 2010, the GOG.com website was disabled leaving behind messages on the web site and their Twitter accounts that the site had been closed. The initial goal was to release classic games to a modern audience without digital rights management restrictions. In late 2008, CD Projekt launched GOG.com under the moniker Good Old Games. They originally imported games from wholesalers in America to sell in Poland. In 1994, Marcin Iwiński and Michał Kiciński founded CD Projekt.
